How to give

We believe that everything we have comes from God, and that giving is part of our response to God.

Ways to give

We seek to serve God in all areas of our lives, including with our money. It is through the generosity of the church family that we continue to worship God and serve our community.

There are a number of ways you can give to St Mary’s and we massively appreciate any gift you are able to give - thank you.

If you have any questions you can contact us on give@stmaryislington.org.

  • We recommend the Parish Giving Scheme which also enables you to sign up for Gift Aid and to inflationary increases each year if you wish.

You can find Parish Giving forms in the church, or visit our church page on: www.parishgiving.org.uk

  • Our account details are:

St Mary Islington PCC at CAF Bank

    Sort code: 40-52-40

  • You can give as and when your circumstances allow. You can give by cash, cheque or via your bank using the details above.

  • Perhaps your employer runs such a scheme – your donations to us would be eligible for an additional boost from your employer.

  • We encourage you to make a will so that you can be sure your wishes for your funeral and estate can be properly carried out.

A gift to your church in your will, either a sum of money or a proportion of the residue of your estate, once other commitments have been met.

Gift Aid form

Whichever way you choose to give to St Mary’s, if you’re a UK taxpayer please complete the Gift Aid form below. Gift Aid is a simple way to increase the value of your gift at no extra cost to you. If you pay tax in the UK, we can reclaim the basic rate tax (25%) on your gift.

Please notify the Parish Office if any of your details change or you wish to cancel your Gift Aid declaration.

If you pay Income Tax at the higher and additional rate and want to receive the additional tax relief due to you, you must include all your Gift Aid donations on your Self-Assessment tax return or ask HMRC to adjust your tax code.

We will keep your details on file to enable us to process and acknowledge your donation(s). They will be held in compliance with the Data Protection Act 2018 and St Mary’s Privacy Statement. If you’re happy for us to keep your name and contact details on our database, these will be processed in order to facilitate the workings of the church and will be held in compliance with the Data Protection Act 2018 and St Mary’s Privacy Statement.
