We are hiring: Executive Assistant to the Vicar

St Mary’s is a vibrant and lively church, at the heart of Islington. Through our partnership with Hope Church Islington we serve a varied and dynamic community stretching from the Angel tube to the Emirates Stadium. We are at an exciting time as we build on our partnership foundations with Hope Church and grow mission and ministry across the life of St Mary’s Church.

The Executive Assistant has a key role at St Mary’s supporting the Vicar in his oversight and leadership of both churches, and roles in the wider Church and community. You will provide high-level executive, administrative and strategic support, enabling the Vicar to lead effectively across the life of the St Mary’s-Hope partnership, parishes, congregations, community, staff teams, volunteers and external stakeholders.

Part time: 22.5 hours per week

Salary: £21,688-£25,171 actual pro rata salary depending on experience (£36,146-£41,952 pa FTE)
