Alpha at St Marys

We will be running the Alpha course again for seven weeks starting on 18th January 2026

2.30pm at church every Sunday

Alpha is… a series of group conversations that freely explore the basics of the Christian faith in an open, friendly environment. You work through it as a group – watch videos and discuss them. You discuss questions like “Who is Jesus?”, “How can we have faith?” and “How and Why do I Pray”?

This is for you if… you aren’t a Christian, if you’re exploring faith, or if you’re an adult thinking about being baptised or confirmed. You might have been coming to church a long time, you might come to church with someone else, but you’ve never really set aside time to explore these questions for yourself. You might have a lot of questions but you almost feel like you missed your opportunity to ask them. It’s completely free, if you decide it’s not for you there’s no obligation to keep coming.
