Experience Easter and Hot Chocolate with St Mary Magadelene Academy

In the run up to Easter, St Mary's and Hope Church ran an Experience Easter Programme with St Mary Magadelene Academy. Over 180 students took part in the programme which focuses on Holy Week in a fun and interactive way through six stations. It's a way for students to understand the gospel of Jesus Christ and why Easter is important to Christians.

In partnership with Christ Church Highbury, St Mary's and Hope Church organised hot chocolate outreach event. Over 130 students from St Mary Magdalene Academy enjoyed a free hot chocolate and gingerbread biscuits in the Hope Church gardens. Each hot chocolate cup had an encouraging scripture card attached which students were encouarged could take home. This is the second time we have done this outreach and received positive feedback; we plan to host another in the summer term.
