Diesel petrol powered cars are major contributors to global warming, mainly due to the amount of CO2 emissions they emit. 27% of the UK’s total emissions came from transport in 2019, with 91% from road transport vehicles. Choosing to use public transport, cycle or walk more often can reduce your carbon footprint as well as provide good exercise.
