St Mary's Weekly Eco Tip: Spreading the message

When you’ve learned a bit about climate change, spread that knowledge: don’t wait to be an expert. An old adage for students about medical procedures might help: ‘See one, do one, teach one’. Or help groups already doing it. www.arocha.org.uk is part of an international group involved in climate change and the environmental crisis. www.operationnoah.org is a Christian charity that focuses on climate change and is based in London. Within Extinction Rebellion there is a group www.christianclimateaction.org, committed to public witness and to prayerful, non-violent protest and direct action. Locally, Islington Environmental Alliance is keeping a sharp eye on whether Islington Council is on course to meet its pledge to emit net-zero carbon dioxide by 2030.
