St Mary's Weekly Eco Tip: Energy saving

As days get shorter, more energy is used for heat and light. Saving energy reduces bills, and moves us closer to needing renewable energy only. Air is a good heat insulator. Draw curtains as soon as it is dark, to trap a layer of air. If double glazing is not possible, tape polythene sheeting over any window where you don’t need a clear winter view.
