On 18 September there will be a free lunchtime recital given by Duo Astra. The duo features competition-winning musicians Theo Bently Curtin (cello) and Myunghan Kim (piano), both recently graduated from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. They will share with us a programme titled 'Music for Autumn', comprising music by the great early romantic Ludvig van Beethoven, and the more modern sounds of Leoš Janáček, one of Czechoslovakia's most important composers. Weaving Slavic fantasy and Germanic grandeur, their programme showcases the very best tradition of musical storytelling, straight from the heart of Europe.

The concerts are free and you do not need a ticket.
The free Friday lunchtime recitals at St Mary's have been made possible by the legacy gift of Denise Antenen and generous donations from members of St Mary's congregation.
