Our fourth Free Friday Lunchtime Recital of 2026 will take place on Friday 17 April. Join Ivelina Ivanova and Niall Townley as they perform two beloved works from the violin and piano repertoire (one of which will be mostly unknown to British audiences). Faure’s Sonata No.1 and “Song” by Pancho Vladigerov are the products of the youth and talent of two young virtuoso pianists, composed on opposite sides of Europe, and separated by just around 50 years. They are united by beautifully expressive melodies, or “songs” in the themes of their respective homelands, reflecting the wonder, hope, individualism and sometimes despair of youth.
Come and be delighted by high quality classical performances in our beautiful church. The concerts will take place on the third Friday of every month at 1.15pm with free hot drinks and cake served from 12.45pm.
The concerts are free and you do not need a ticket.
