The Evolving Life of an Islington Home

A guided story through a typical Islington terrace (Georgian or Victorian), tracking the “layers” of retrofit over time, from original passive design decisions, through post-war alterations, to today’s fabric-first, low-carbon upgrades and the next wave of adaptation. This can be visual, technical, historical and practical, so it would appeal to a wide audience who might enjoy different angles on the same topic.

Islington Sustainability Network are partnering with a local architect, Fynn Architects, to host this event as part of the London Festival of Architecture.
