All Together Church
The second Sunday of every month we hold our 'All Together Church' service. This isn't about giving our youth and children's workers a week off, this is about getting the whole church together to worship as one body and to be inspired at the start of the week.
Crèche (0 to 2½)
Our crèche is available every Sunday in the prayer room at any point in the service. There is an audio feed into the room and a large selection of toys to play with so everyone can be entertained. We provide full changing facilities.
Starter Church (Nursery to Year 1)
At Starter Church we want start children off in the right direction, developing relationships, discovering God and having fun! We plan a full program of free play, craft, games, interactive Bible stories and prayer.
Kids Church (Year 2 to Year 5)
At Kids' Church we love helping children start to make and see deeper connections between their life and following Christ. We regularly look at Old and New Testament stories in a fun way so the message of the Bible inspires a new generation.
Youth Church (Year 6 to Year 10)
Youth Church is a place not only to discuss faith honestly but think about how young Christians can contribute to the church, their community and the wider world. We won't be afraid to look at some tough issues that young people face as they grow older.
SMS
SMS (St Mary's Soul) currently meets every Sunday evening at 6pm during term time. We use the neighbourhood centre sports hall for team games and socialising, then at 6.45pm move to the church crypt to have some refreshments and discuss life and faith. We are currently going through a series called 'Hot Potatoes' where we consider big issues about Christianity and why they are divisive.
We are thrilled to have been awarded the Diocese of London's Children's Charter, making children fully part of St Mary's through welcome, worship, mission and nurture. All our leaders and helpers are CRB checked and take great care to ensure the children have fun in a safe environment.
Our own St Mary's Youth Club and St Mary's Pre-School are led by the St Mary Islington Community Partnership, and we have excellent links with St Mary's Primary School.
