Rosy Fairhurst, author and former associate vicar at St Mary's, will be running a workshop on Wednesday 13 March, 7.30-9.30pm in the Crypt, to help people go deeper with the issues she raises in her book.
Uncovering Sin invites us to view sin as something to be understood, rather than condemned, a diagnostic rather than a judgement. It argues that only as we allow our darker places to come into the light can we truly re-integrate the part of us there so that we can be healed, more fully saved, and come to appreciate our deeper identity and calling.
During the workshop Rosy will explore some of the pictures and illustrations that the book uses too.
All welcome - no need to book - although an idea of numbers would be helpful. So an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org saying you're thinking of coming would be useful.
You can get hold of a copy of Uncovering Sin here or on the St Mary's bookstall. Copies also available on the night.
