Enough Food For Everyone If

We're glad to help promote the Enough Food For Everyone If campaign. The Church of England is already involved with the project to challenge governments to end global food shortages.

The land produces enough to feed the whole population of the world. But one billion go without. The G8 Summit will be the climax of the campaign, which was launched yesterday. It's a coalition of many partner organisations, of all faith groups and none.

For Christians particularly, the mandate to end poverty comes from the Bible. The earth is the Lord's, not ours. We understand ourselves to be entrusted with a unique stewardship of the productivity and fruitfulness of the planet - something that makes blessing and abundance possible for people and care of the world itself. Look out for the campaign and get involved to make 2013 the year when we began to properly end hunger.
