Soul in the City 2019: schedule announced

We are delighted to confirm the events for this year’s Soul in the City festival:

  • Wednesday 17 July from 7pm: Flat Pack Music will perform Puccini's most popular opera La Boheme. This beautiful and unforgettable story will be sung in English. Booking required, tickets available from 9am Monday 17 June via Eventbrite.

  • Thursday 18 July from 7.30pm: The Big Quiz, join us for a traditional quiz night. Come by yourself or as a team, and get your knowledge tested while having fun! Light refreshments provided.

  • Friday 19 July from 7.30pm: Music and poetry for a summer night, an evening of classical and jazz music by Dvorak, Debussy and Gershwin, as well as ancient and modern poetry from Anonymous, Shakespeare and Simon Armitage, amongst many others.

  • Saturday 20 July 1-5pm: Family fun day for families with a bouncy castle, fire engine, live music, face-painting, treasure hunt, tours of the church building, St John Ambulance and a free forecourt café.

  • Sunday 21 July 1-4pm: A Neighbourhood Community Celebration featuring: tours of the church building; meet and greet with partner charities; ethnic food; live music and free forecourt café; culminating in a café-style worship service at 3pm.

All events are free and take place in and around the church.
