Joining St Mary's Church Electoral Roll

We believe that everyone has a unique role to play in the life of St Mary's. Part of that involves joining in worship, serving with the gifts that you have, praying regularly and contributing to community life. Being part of St Mary's also means joining the church electoral roll - the Church of England's register of all local church members. You get to vote at our annual meeting and you can stand for election to serve our church.

To join the electoral roll you must be able to confirm one of the three statements below:

  1. I am baptised and aged 16 or over. I am a member of the Church of England (or of a Church in communion with the Church of England) and I reside in the parish. (Check www.achurchnearyou.com to search for your address, or look on the form which is linked below.)

  2. I am baptised and aged 16 or over. I am a member of the Church of England (or of a Church in communion with the Church of England) and, though I do not reside in the parish, I have habitually attended public worship at St Mary's during a period of six months prior to enrolment.

  3. I am baptised and aged 16 or over. I am a member in good standing of a Church (not in communion with the Church of England) which subscribes to the doctrine of the Holy Trinity and also declare myself to be a member of the Church of England, and I have habitually attended public worship at St Mary's during a period of six months prior to enrolment.
