We're delighted to announce the appointment of Caroline Humphries as our new Resource Manager.
Following Christine Dawson's decision to retire as our Finance Administrator, we decided to expand the role. As Resource Manager, Caroline will be managing our financial controls, including day to day book-keeping, supporting the PCC in a range of governance responsibilities and helping the church make the most effective use of our resources.
Caroline has worked in management in the NHS, recently managing the delivery of programmes in north London, including a period establishing access to psychological therapies in Islington.
Caroline is a Quaker, and enjoys being part of the worshipping community at Westminster Local Meeting. She draws particular inspiration from the contemplative tradition within Christianity, and has enjoyed exploring her faith with visits to the Iona and Taize communities, and more recently on the Camino de Santiago. In her spare time, she is an enthusiastic hiker, and likes to escape London for walking weekends in the countryside. She is also an avid bridge player and reader.
Caroline will be joining us from 16 January 2017, working in the church office in the afternoons, and we very much look forward to her arrival. We'll want to say a big thank you to Christine Dawson when she leaves at the end of January.
