Our church clock has been telling the time for Islington for over two hundred years. Sadly, for the last decade, it's been telling the wrong time on all three faces (three times wrong, at the same time). We're so sorry for the missed appointments and befuddling that we've caused. Who knows who was meant to meet whom, at what time, under our landmark tower?
We're delighted that as of now, all three clock faces are synchronised. Better still, they all announce the correct time, together with the chimes of our eighteenth century bells, to the split-second.
We'll never be as famous as this clock, or this one, but we'll see if we can keep things ticking along for another couple of hundred years, through good times and hard times.
