From 30 September 2012, Diana Young will be joining us on a six-month ministry placement.
Diana is in her final year of full-time ordination
training at Ripon College Cuddesdon, near Oxford. She is a weekly boarder at college
and is on placement at St Mary’s mostly at the weekends when she is at home in
North Finchley with her husband, Simon.
Diana and Simon have three children, the youngest of whom is still at
university. Diana’s degree subject was English, and she used to work with staff
and students as an administrator for Middlesex University, based at Enfield and
Archway. Her favourite ways to wind down
are walking, swimming, gardening, Scottish Dancing and going to the theatre and
concerts. She is looking forward to
meeting people at St Mary’s and finding out what it is like ‘being church’ in
such a diverse and vibrant part of London.
